Privacy Policy
Antarctic Explore is a small, independent expedition-cruise specialist. We collect as little as possible and use it only to plan your trip.
What we collect
When you request a quote, use the trip planner, or submit the rule-based support widget, we collect the details you provide: name or preferred form of address, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (including country or region code), and trip preferences such as destination, preferred months, group size, budget, route, ship style, cabin preference, and willingness to share a cabin. We also record the page source and language so we can reply appropriately.
How we use it
Your information is used only to plan your trip: matching you with suitable expedition departures, preparing quotes, and contacting you about your inquiry. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Only when you decide to book do we share the necessary details with the expedition operator running your voyage, so they can provision your cabin. Operators process your data under their own privacy policies.
Storage and retention
Inquiries are stored in a secured database with access limited to our small team. We keep inquiry records for up to 24 months to support ongoing trip planning, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to view, correct, or delete your information at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-friendly first-party analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources, countries, device types and conversion actions. With your permission, we also use Meta Pixel to measure whether advertising leads to useful visits, WhatsApp contacts and completed enquiries. Meta may set advertising cookies and process device or browsing information under its own privacy terms. Meta Pixel does not receive the name, email, phone number or trip details entered in our forms.
Your choices
You can allow or decline Meta Pixel in the cookie notice. Declining advertising cookies does not limit the website, quote form or WhatsApp contact. You can clear the site's stored preferences in your browser to be asked again.
